Art Adventure Camp Week (Ages 7+)

Adventure on, art campers! A week of afternoon artistic endeavors traveling to new locations every day with our sketchbooks and studying different aspects of the world around us!

Registration includes a new adventure every day. Each camper gets a tote bag that includes:

*Sketchbook

 *Art supplies for the week (but campers are welcome to bring their own sketchbooks and supplies if they have and want them). Sometimes the best art comes from practicing with our favorite items and materials. I will always encourage them to choose materials based on what inspires them most. 

*Binoculars- to keep handy as we are traveling around town so we can look up at the architecture and maybe even see some other cool up-close observations. 

*Small travel blanket for picnicing and sketch time

*Safari Hat- Provides great protection from the sun and quite decoratable during downtime. :)

Drop-Off time is 10AM and Pick-Up time is 2PM at the Switchboard.

Campers are asked to wear sneakers and keep in mind that we will be doing a lot of walking. Bring water bottles (two might be good!) and a packed lunch as we will be stopping and breaking for a picnic somewhere new everyday! Bring hats and or sunglasses and put on sunscreen before you come so you are prepared for the heat.

Monday: Locust St. Park- Faces and Figure Drawing

Tuesday: Columbia Crossing- Landscape and Face painting day

Wednesday: Architecture and Art Gallery Day- Locust St. businesses and Garth Gallery

Thursday: Poetry w/ the Wordhive and KNS Fine Jewelry- Sparkle Club Day

Friday: Fragments of the Past- Window Painting Day!
