Burden of Guilt: Is a Indie Emo Rock band from East Petersburg, PA that adds in touches of gritty grunge & punk rock sounds to get you jumping while you are in those feels.

Josh Houseknecht: The frontman of B.O.G. And the founder & creator of Burden of Guilt’s unique sound & soul healing writing style that helps you relate to current & past life experiences. Josh plays lead guitar & is the lead singer of B.O.G.  Song writer first, musician second.  He presents his powerful vocals patterns with a unique cadence.  To top it all off he adds polished tight rhythms & fast finger picking techniques to thicken a sound that makes it sound like more members are on stage. He’ll have you reaching for more & in the feels.  Fun Fact: Josh is a self taught singer & guitar player. Everything he has learned is from other mentors, musicians & from listening/hearing vocal techniques, chords & notes.  Hometown: Camp Hill, PA Biggest Influences: Brand New, Nirvana, Slaughter Beach Dog, Anthony Green, Manchester Orchestra & Boxcar Racer   

Devon Chevalier: is the drummer of B.O.G. Can you believe he has been playing drums for only 4 years, it sounds like he’s been playing drums since he was a child. Devon is an explosive & polished drummer, that adds balance & created more dynamic to Burden of Guilts sound. He can hold a beat & and improvising and creating on the go is his speciality.  Devon takes influences from drummers like Dave Grohl & Taylor Hawkins that helped him create is own unique style of drumming. Fun fact: Devon is a self taught rounded musician that can sing & play drums at the same time. While also being an expert guitar/bass player. He can do it all!  Hometown: Lancaster, PA Influences: Foo Fighters, Nirvana, The Eagles, Nickelback & Creed   

Elle Taranis: Last but not least, we have the queen of emotion. Elle is a vocal powerhouse, that adds perfection with range, harmonies & blend to Burden of Guilts sound. While people have suggested that burden of guilt needs a bass live, they replaced it with Elle’s voice.  Her voice provides fills from the emptiness that existed in certain songs. Elle also has a degree is music industry & is very proactive with handling the business side of music. Once you hear Elle sing, you lock in & can’t believe the beauty of a voice exists. She adds extras feels and emotion to Burden of Guilts sound and was the missing piece. Hearing Elle & Josh Harmonize & sing together is something you don’t wanna miss.  Hometown: Reading, PA Influences: Paramore, Icon for Hire, Blink 182, Papa Roach, Stand Atlantic, NF  

Burden of Guilt is a band that is helping fight for a better tomorrow.   While focusing on being a two piece band (instrumentally), they tend to bring special guests on our shows to give you a different outlook on truth and music.   They add an additional lead vocalist to add harmonies that will drive you crazy & begging for more!  From our full kit performance getting you jumping up and down.  Into finishing our set intimately with an acoustic guitar.  We’ll get you trusting in those feels for sure.   They let you know that it’s okay to not be okay and being in the feels is okay with our music.  They help you remember those rushes you got when you were young and in love. They want to help you remember the little moments and we help you heal from your current and past battles.   

Prepare yourself for our high energy performance,  Prepare yourself for the undying breath of our raw, but yet power melodic tones that are driven by powerful lyrics, harsh but yet powerful vocals that will bring you back to 90s in the grunge era or 2005 when you were a misunderstood emo kids.
