Conceptual Illustration for Beginners (18+)

Are you curious about how to create colorful illustrations from something in your head as opposed to painting or drawing something from still life/ something in front of you? This is a funky morning class for adults (BIG KIDS!) that want to learn how to illustrate pictures from their imagination, bring life to the characters and symbols from their dreams, or just start to explore their subconscious through some art!

ONLINE REGISTRATION REQUIRED- DEADLINE AUGUST 19TH

$150 per Artist for full (4) week course

(1) 11 x 17" Canvas

Paintbrushes

Paint

Watercup

Paper towels

Step-By-Step instruction on how to create with Miss Alison

(4) Weeks of class- Meets for 2 hours on Tuesday mornings at the Switchboard.

Wear paint clothes, art supplies will stain!

Feel free to bring drinks and snacks.

Artists are welcome and encouraged to bring materials from home to include in their artwork (i.e. 3D texture materials like fabric scraps, junk jewelry and beads, newspaper clippings, scrapbook materials, etc.) 

Artists are also encouraged to use their favorite materials to push and create. If artists would rather use their own materials from home, discounted tickets for $135 per artist will be available at registration check out.
