Trashion Fashion Avant Garb Show

Hosted by Columbia Creative Factory, runway show and afterparty spotlighting outfits made with recycled, reused, or repurposed items. 

Trashion Fashion Avant Garb show is raising funds to help local children participate in music or art lessons, programs, or workshops. All proceeds will go toward local organizations such as the Boys & Girls Club, Columbia School of Music, Columbia Creative Factory, Kids Summer Art Camp, Hands Across the Street Homeless Shelter family programs. etc. Ticket purchasers will be able to note where they want their donations to be used. The funds will be administered by the Columbia Creative Factory, a local established non-profit who also sponsored this event in 2016. The event includes a fashion show where all entries are created from items that are recycled or repurposed. Once the participant winners have been honored for their creations, an informal after party will feature live music by Albie von Schaaf is the guitarist & vocalist for the popular blues band, Moe Blues, which is a favorite at festivals & venues throughout the region and will be accompanied by Joe Cigan. No party is complete without light snacks and beverages. Adult drinks can be purchased from Columbia Kettle Works located on the first floor.
